The Council’s work is directed by its volunteer membership, which includes organizations (represented by a staff member or volunteer) and individuals committed to women’s equality.
Members shape the Council’s work by collaborating with staff to identify and analyze priority issues and propose solutions. Members also ensure that the voices of women from diverse identities, communities, and experiences are represented within the Council. The members also have a governance role that includes developing policies to direct the Council’s operations at a high level.
